Finding Something Lost – and giving it a proper home
We have been doing this since 2011.
For most of that time, boudoir (and nude) photography lived as a section of a larger site - alongside general portrait work with families and pets. It was always the work we were most proud of. It was also, if we're honest, the work that got the least attention on the page.
That felt wrong. It has always felt wrong. The women who come to us - who take that step, who sit with the idea for months before picking up the phone, who leave having seen themselves differently - deserve more than a sub-page.
So here we are. A site of its own, a name of its own, and a space that reflects what this work actually is.
Finding Something Lost. Because that is what keeps happening. Women arrive looking for something - confidence, themselves, a version of who they used to be, or someone they haven't met yet. They almost always find it. Sometimes they find something they weren't even looking for.
The photography hasn't changed. The studio is the same. Barrie is the same - arguably slightly older, possibly slightly wiser. What's changed is that this work now has the space it deserves.
If you've been thinking about it - and if you're reading this, there's a reasonable chance you have - the conversation starts by reaching out to us via the contact page. There's no pressure and no script. Just a chat.
